Blessing CEO Granted N20 Million Bail in Alleged N69.15 Million Property Fraud Case

Blessing CEO bail has attracted widespread attention after an Ikeja Special Offences Court granted the social media personality ₦20 million bail today. The court approved her bail while hearing allegations involving an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Prosecutors accused Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, of obtaining money through alleged false claims regarding property ownership in Lagos. The latest charges remain separate from earlier fraud allegations currently pending before different courts involving the controversial relationship expert and influencer.

Earlier this year, EFCC accused her of obtaining ₦36 million after allegedly claiming ownership of a six-bedroom duplex in Lekki. Investigators also arraigned her over separate allegations involving approximately ₦13 million reportedly solicited through a disputed cancer fundraising campaign.

Blessing CEO has consistently remained one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media personalities because of her controversial public statements and legal disputes. Despite facing multiple EFCC prosecutions, no court has convicted her in any of the ongoing criminal cases to date.

The court granted bail under conditions requiring two sureties before proceedings continue on the latest property fraud allegations.

Blessing CEO bail marks another development in the influencer’s growing list of legal battles currently before Nigerian courts. The case will continue as prosecutors and defence lawyers prepare arguments before the court resumes hearing the allegations.
