Timi Dakolo UK tour debt allegations have sparked widespread attention after the singer strongly denied owing Revolve Entertainment £4,106 for cancelled tour expenses. His legal team also threatened court action over alleged defamatory statements made against the award-winning musician online.
Lawyers representing Dakolo described the claims as completely false while demanding an immediate end to publications allegedly damaging his reputation and credibility. They issued the response through a July 18 letter signed by Tope Salami of Whitestone Solicitors and Consultancy.
Revolve Entertainment claimed Dakolo owed expenses covering venue arrangements, graphic design, website development, visa deposits, consultation fees, and promotional production costs. However, Dakolo’s lawyers firmly rejected those allegations, insisting their client accepted no contractual responsibility for those disputed expenses.
According to the agreement, Revolve Entertainment assumed responsibility for venues, technical production, sound, lighting, flights, accommodation, transportation, and visa-related obligations throughout. Furthermore, the contract reportedly stated those expenses remained the promoter’s responsibility without any obligation for repayment by Dakolo.
Lawyers explained the proposed United Kingdom tour never proceeded because the promoter allegedly failed to satisfy essential technical production requirements before announcement. Consequently, Dakolo never promoted the tour since organizers had not fulfilled their contractual obligations before any public campaign.
Timi Dakolo UK tour debt claims also triggered accusations of cyberbullying, harassment, intimidation, blackmail, and repeated defamatory publications against the celebrated Nigerian singer online. The legal letter alleged Revolve Entertainment and its representative repeatedly used offensive language while making damaging accusations across social media platforms.
Dakolo’s legal representatives demanded an immediate withdrawal of every allegedly defamatory publication alongside a complete cessation of further harmful public statements immediately. Additionally, they confirmed the singer remains prepared to pursue legal proceedings in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom if necessary.
Meanwhile, the dispute continues attracting significant public attention as both parties defend their positions regarding the cancelled United Kingdom tour and contractual obligations. The outcome could determine whether the disagreement ends through legal proceedings or an eventual resolution between both parties.
