Netflix’s ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Season 2 Opens to 8.7 Million Views

Season 2 of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” debuted with 8.7 million views in its first four days, marking a 59% decline from the series’ debut season despite securing the No. 2 spot on the platform’s weekly English-language TV rankings.

The latest season’s opening was significantly lower than Season 1, which premiered with 21.2 million views over the same four-day period in 2024. Even so, the new release sparked renewed interest in the series, with Season 1 returning to Netflix’s chart at No. 3 after attracting 3 million views during the June 22–28 tracking period.

Both seasons of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” trailed the Harlan Coben thriller “I Will Find You,” which remained Netflix’s most-watched English-language TV title for a second consecutive week.

After debuting with 24 million views in four days the previous week, “I Will Find You” climbed to 34.1 million views in its first full week of availability.

The June 22 edition of “Raw: 2026” ranked fourth on the chart with 2.3 million views, while Season 3 of “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” followed in fifth place with 2.2 million views in its second week.

“Salish & Jordan Matter” continued its strong run on the platform. Season 1 spent a sixth week in the Top 10 with 2 million views, while Season 2 debuted with the same total. “Sweet Magnolias” Season 5 also recorded 2 million views in its third week.

Rounding out the chart, “The Amazing Digital Circus” claimed ninth place with 1.9 million views in its fourth week. It tied with “The Last Ship,” the former TNT drama that concluded in 2018 and recently joined Netflix’s catalogue.

The latest rankings cover Netflix’s English-language TV titles for the week of June 22–28, reflecting audience viewing across the platform.
