Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced that he will release his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, on July 31 to mark the 15th anniversary of his music career.
The five-time Grammy-nominated singer shared the news in a social media post on Monday. He also revealed the title of the upcoming project.
The album title combines the Yoruba words “ori” (head or destiny) and “adé” (crown). Davido said the project reflects his current stage of reflection and gratitude. It also tells the story of his journey toward fulfilling his purpose.
The singer released the album’s lead single, “I Know Who I Be,” on June 26. ORIADÉ will follow his 2025 album, 5ive. He has not announced the tracklist or featured artists.
Born David Adeleke, Davido rose to fame in 2012 with “Dami Duro,” the second single from his debut album, Omo Baba Olowo.
Since then, he has released A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023), and 5ive (2025). ORIADÉ will become his sixth studio album.
Davido also founded DMW in April 2016. The record label has helped launch the careers of many musical talents. It remains one of Nigeria’s leading music labels.
