Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has revealed that he spent about N340 million on cannabis between 2020 and 2026, saying the amount was paid to just one supplier who lived close to him.

Speaking during a recent interview on Nevon HQ, the rapper opened up about his past struggles with cannabis use and how deep the habit went over the years.

“Let me tell you how bad it was. Check the statement because it is going to shock you, but it’s the truth. Between 2020 and 2026, I spent N340 million on one dealer. That is just one of the dealers; I did not need to check the others,” he said.

He explained that the figure did not capture his full spending, noting that he also bought from other dealers when he travelled.

“Like this is the one person who constantly supplies my weed, obviously, but he is not the one who supplies all the time because there are other guys.

“If I am in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, or London, it is a different person. I am talking about one guy who lives close to me.”

Ice Prince has previously spoken about his past cannabis use, including in May 2025 when he said he regretted learning how to roll cannabis, which he believes contributed to his addiction.
