One of the notable highlights was the presence of the Lagos State Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Ms. Abisola Olusanya. Her remarks encouraged continued visibility for Nigerian produce and appreciation for homegrown culinary traditions.

The event was also attended by reality star Seyi Awolowo and several well known chefs including Chef Fregz. Their presence added a fresh spotlight to the cultural value of Ofada rice and the significance of celebrating Nigeria’s food identity on a wider scale. 

Entertainment formed a major part of the experience at the press conference. Squad One delivered a lively performance that lifted the energy in the room. The high point of the moment came when OfadaBoy joined them on stage. The reaction from the audience was instant as the atmosphere turned even more cheerful. 

That was not all. The renowned singer Abiodun Koya added a soulful touch with a live performance that captivated attendees.
