Afrobeat star Made Kuti is set to headline the 2025 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), one of Africaโs biggest celebrations of cinema and storytelling. The grand event, which will hold in Lagos, Nigeria, is expected to draw over 150 film practitioners, producers, and industry stakeholders from around the world.

The choice of Made Kuti, grandson of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and son of Femi Kuti, reflects AMAAโs tradition of blending art, music and film.
