The evening began with an elegant pre-cocktail reception hosted by The Macallan, where guests indulged in signature The Macallan cocktails, canapés, and lively conversation. The warm ambience encouraged connection and discovery, as a live band filled the air with soothing rhythms before the DJ carried the night into a spirited close.
Among the distinguished guests were Tara Durotoye, Founder of House of Tara; Layole Oyatogun, media personality; and Sunmbo Adeoye, author and founder of the Inspiring Change Initiative, alongside leading creatives and fashion tastemakers who came together to celebrate artistry in all its forms.

The highlight of the evening was the runway presentation, 57 intricately crafted pieces that reflected The LadyMaker’s decade-long mastery of design and storytelling. Models graced the runway with elegance and poise, showcasing garments fashioned from Aso Oke, African prints, and contemporary textiles. The result was a mesmerising display of contrasts, street energy meeting atelier precision, bold colour against minimalist structure.

Creative Director Ifeyinwa Azubike described Graffiti as “a love letter to Lagos, its cadence and its beauty, and to the women who walk through it, leaving a bold and individual mark.” The collection’s palette mirrored the city’s rhythm, oil-black asphalt, luminous white, and bursts of pink, orange, yellow, and gold, creating a visual narrative that celebrated both the city’s dynamism and the brand’s enduring elegance.
Speaking on the collaboration, Daniel Atteh, The Macallan Brand Ambassador for Lagos, said:“The Macallan has always celebrated mastery and creativity in every form. The LadyMaker’s Graffiti collection is an embodiment of that same philosophy, an intersection of precision, passion, and purpose. Partnering with this milestone event is a toast to timeless craftsmanship and the art of creative reinvention.”

For The Macallan, the partnership was more than a brand alignment, it was a continuation of its mission to celebrate artistry and creators who bring imagination to life. From fine art to haute couture, The Macallan continues to stand as a symbol of timeless excellence and thoughtful craftsmanship. The evening at The Vici reflected this spirit beautifully, every glass, every note, and every garment telling its own story of mastery and meaning.
As guests raised their glasses of The Macallan Cocktails in celebration, the night became a reflection of shared values, precision, artistry, and purpose. Together, The Macallan and The LadyMaker reaffirmed a truth that transcends industries: that true luxury is not just seen or tasted, but felt, in moments of creation that stand the test of time.
