As he established the organising committee for the National Youth Conference, President Bola Tinubu underlined his dedication to empowering Nigerian youth.

In a statement released on March 10, 2025, on X (previously Twitter), Tinubu underlined the vital role the youth play in Nigeria’s progress.

“I am with you!” the president declared, addressing the youth directly.

He emphasised their importance, pointing out that they comprise more than 60% of the populace and are essential to Nigeria’s economic development.

Tinubu gave young Nigerians the assurance that his government is committed to reducing barriers to advancement and generating possibilities.

“I will continue to help navigate, push and lift the heavy weights so I can clear the path for you to have a great future,” he stated.

Along with reaffirming his larger commitment to national development, the president pledged to improve Nigeria for all Nigerians, including the youth.
