International Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, better known by his stage name, Davido recently gave a piece of his mind to a fan who tried to admonish him to be less involved in politics, especially as it concerns his uncle, Ademola Adeleke and Osun state.

Over the last few days, Osun State has witnessed a lot of political violence, with two returning Local Government Chairman allegedly killed during the attacks.

OSG recalls reporting days ago when Davido went online to call out the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Abba Umar, asking him to do his duties right by protecting lives and properties in the state.

The violence has been linked to the upcoming Local Government elections set to be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

However, after calling out the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Davido went back online to retract his earlier comments and allegations.

He also hailed the commissioner for doing his best to manage the political crisis that rocked the state.

Davido slams a fan for correcting him

In a tweet that has now gone viral, Davido responded to the comment made by a tweep who claimed to be a fan of the singer. The DMW singer noted that nothing he holds dear in this life is bigger than family.

He further that coming out to slam the Osun State commissioner of police wasn’t a bad thing to do because he was fighting for a just cause.

Davido also told the fan that if he can’t cope with his online rant and outburst, he is allowed to stop being his fan.
