The National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, led a delegation of senior union officials to meet the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, on Wednesday in Abuja.
The visit, announced via an Instagram statement, emphasized the union’s commitment to strengthening ties with government stakeholders to advance the transportation sector in Nigeria.
Accompanying MC Oluomo were prominent members of the union, including National Secretary Kayode Agbeyangi and Lagos State Treasurer Sulaimon Ojora (Kudeleti), who also serves as Chief of Staff to the NURTW National President.
In the statement, MC Oluomo described the meeting as “a significant occasion,” highlighting the unionโs efforts to collaborate with the government for the betterment of road transport workers and the industry at large.
The discussion underscored the importance of strategic partnerships in driving growth within the sector.
