American rapper and music executive, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs better known as Diddy has broken his silence since CNN released the footage of him physically abusing his ex-girlfriend and singer, Cassie Ventura.
In a lengthy video posted on his official Instagram page today, May 19, 2024, in which he captioned “I’m truly sorry”, the rapper reflected on his actions and apologised to Cassie and the public.
“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that”, Diddy stated at the beginning of the video.
“I was f@cked up, I mean, I hit rock bottom. I make no excuses. My behaviour in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. Had to go into therapy, and ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry”, he continued.
The video which was posted 45 minutes ago at the time of this article had garnered over 57k comments.
Recall that in the late hours of May 17, 2024, CNN released a never-before-seen footage that showed Diddy physically assaulting Cassie Ventura in the hallway of a hotel.
