Nigeria had played a 0-0 draw with England after 120 minutes. The intense game against Nigeria went to penalties, with Chloe Kelly netting the winning shot.
In the end, England secured victory, beating Nigeria 4-2.
England will either face Colombia or Jamaica in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
