Zen Archery Club, Lagos and Arch Archery team currently representing Nigeria in Ivory Coast at The 11th International Archery Grand Prix at the Ivory Coast Arc and the 14th West and Central African Archery Zone Championship (West and Central African Archery Zone International Tournament – TIZOCATA) hosted by the Ivorian Archery Federation (FIVTA) at Robert Champroux Stadium in Marcory, Abidjan, the competitions will hold from August 18 to 25, 2024.
The team, made up of 10 talented athletes, 9 male and 1 female, is making waves in the TIZOCATA tournament , which has brought together over 70 archers from 6 West African countries . Our team is participating in various categories including the Compound archery , recurve archery, barebow archery and bamboo categories.
As of now, the team has secured an impressive 6 medals, including 4 gold , 1 silver and 1 bronze. With the tournament concluding on Saturday August 24th 2025, we believe this is an excellent opportunity to showcase their achievements and share their story with your audience.
Our ultimate vision is to see Nigerian archers compete on the world’s biggest stage – the Olympics. We believe by sharing their journey and achievements, we can inspire a new generation of archers and garner support for our olympic ambitions.
