Former Vice Chairman of Lagos Island East Local Government, Kehinde Asekun Shakiru has been arrested with cocaine at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

He was about boarding Virgin Atlantic Airline at Lagos Airport to London Heathrow Airport, when officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested him.

NDLEA says it has seized a total sum of N131 Million found in the former Lagos Island politician account and another N14 Million found in the account of one of his couriers,Adeniyi Ibrahim’s bank account.
