First Nigerian Golfer, Georgia Oboh Receives Invite To Compete At Scottish Open

The Nigerian teenage golfer, Georgia Oboh has been invited to compete at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open happening from August 13 – August 16 at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick.

The 19-year old golf star, Georgia Oboh who became a golf pro at 17 years, had reacted to her selection in a tweet as follows:

“Thanks so much to #ASILSO #RuleTheLinks Iโ€™m indeed humbled and feel truly blessed #phillipians413 for this great opportunity to represent Nigeria ?? and Subsaharan Africa in this elite field ??@gemmadryburgh @Beany25 @Shibuno_ch lets represent @ASInvestmentsUK All glory to God”

According to Aberdeen Standard Investment, her selection would “provide inspiration and opportunities for the next generation of talented women to participate in events of this stature.”
