Nigerian Kamaru Usman is still the UFC Welterweight Champion after his victory over Jorge Masvidal at the UFC 251 which held at Flash Forum, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This was after Gilbert Buns who was supposed to compete with Kamaru Usman tested positive for Coronavirus and was replaced with Jorge Masvidal.
Kamaru Usman has however proven himself capable enough to be the UFC Welterweight Champion as this is 12th straight win in the UFC, which makes it a tie with the Georges St-Pierre’s record for longest welterweight win streak.
The Nigerian UFC Welterweight Champion, Kamaru Usman was earlier seen with his Zanku dance steps as he used ‘Anybody’ by Burna Boy as his entrance theme song for his fight against Jorge Masvidal. He also had the Nigerian flag draped around his neck as he made his entry.
