The Zoom Application has been a major platform of online meetings during the lockdown, and it has been fully harnessed by coaches, friends, offices and even courtrooms. It is not a surprise that the sports sector of the country has also utilized the online platform.

Sunday Dare, the Minister of Youth and Sports Development held a Zoom meeting with coaches, athletes and other sports stakeholders to discuss the revitalization of the sports industry, the development of talents and the upgrade of the traning camps in Plateau state. The meeting, as stated in Mr. Sunday Dare’s tweet discussed how best to improve Nigeria’s ranking in long distance races.
