The W.I.S.E INITIATIVE Team, accompanied by notable society personalities and role models, delivered 20 mins enlightenment sessions on the pros of internet usage to students & pupils present, with highlights on excesses to be avoided. The audience also comprised of teachers, administrative staff, old students and the PTA.
The first phase of the #netsafeedutour campaign visited schools in Abuja FCT, Lagos and Plateau States such as:
Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls Secondary School, Yaba Lagos;
Redeemer’s International School, Ebute-Metta Lagos;
Methodist Nursery and Primary School, Lagos Island LGEA;
Ebute-Lefun Nursery and Primary School, Lagos Island LGEA;
Holy Cross Catholic school, Lagos Island LGEA;
REMUS Private School, Jos Plateau State;
GSSJ Kufang, Jos Plateau State;
Ajigbeda Girls Junior Secondary School, Surulere Lagos;
Ajigbeda Girls Senior Secondary School, Surulere Lagos and
Primegate Academy, Abuja.
Other schools to be visited as part of the first phase of the project include Chrisland School, Opebi Lagos in June and St. Greg’s College, Ikoyi Lagos in July.
