Arsenal are keen to sign Bayern Munich defender Rafinha and have offered the Brazilian a three-year contract, according to Sport Bild.
Rafinha’s contract with the Bavarians expires in 2017 but, as he is set to turn 31 in September, it is unlikely that Arsenal would have to pay a great deal to land him.

Bayern Munich could allow Rafinha to leave, after five years at the Allianz Arena, in order to replace him with a younger full-back like the Gunners’ Hector Bellerin or Real Madrid man Dani Carvajal, the report states.
Rafinha has made 21 starts for the Bavarians in all competitions this season.
Such a move would likely spell the end for Mathieu Debuchy’s Arsenal career as the Frenchman is currently on loan at Bordeaux until the end of the season.
It would also call into question where Arsene Wenger sees Carl Jenkinson’s future.
The Englishman returned from his loan move at West Ham after injury ended his season but since he, Hector Bellerin and Rafinha all play right-back, signing the Bayern Munich would likely mean Jenkinson’s time at the Emirates is over.
Rafinha has won a plethora of honors with Bayern Munich including three Bundesliga titles, the Champions League, three German domestic cups, the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
