The Formula 1 personalities turned out en masse to pay their respects to Jules Bianchi who died on Friday. Bianchi’s race car collided with a recovery car last year at the Japanese grand prix in October and went into a coma which he never recovered from until his death on Friday.
Bianchi, 25, drove for Marrusia F1 team and will be buried today in his hometown Nice, France. F1 three time champion, Sebastian Vettel and world champion Lewis Hamilton are at Nice as Bianchi is prepared to be laid to rest at the Sainte Reparate Cathedral.
Bianchi’s racing number “17” will be retired in his honor.
