On Monday, October 23, the Lagos State Government persisted with its cleanup efforts along the Blue Line/BRT Corridor situated on the Lagos Badagry Expressway. This information was conveyed in a post shared on X by Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on New Media.
Jubril Gawat stated that the cleanup operation is being spearheaded by a special squad led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Bayo Suleiman. In his caption, he mentioned, “The cleanup activities encompass the entire Blue Line/BRT Corridor, spanning from the Lagos Badagry Expressway, extending all the way to Iyana Iba and various other parts of the route.”
He went on to emphasize that the state government has undertaken extensive sensitization and awareness efforts, including radio jingles and engagement with stakeholders. Furthermore, Gawat noted that the operation is now advancing toward Alaba Rago and its neighboring areas.
