Black Panther star and Academy Award nominee Chadwick Boseman will receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced.
Boseman will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2024 alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, as well as recent Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh, and Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot. Iconic singer and songwriter and the “King of Soul,” Otis Redding, will also be honored with a posthumous star.
Passing away from colon cancer in August 2020 at the age of 43, Boseman was best known for his role as T’Challa, aka Black Panther, from the 2018 film of the same name. Thanks to his performance, the actor helped to earn the movie three Academy Awards, all whilst creating a phenomenon for the Marvel franchise, becoming the first black superhero of the contemporary cinematic landscape.
He trully deserve it…..May his soul continue to rest in peace!
