One of the leading telecommunications companies in Nigeria; MTN, has condemned the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
According to Chief Executive Officer of MTN in Nigeria, Ferdi Moolman in a statement; “MTN Nigeria strongly condemns the prejudice and xenophobia and reiterate our unequivocal condemnation of all violence,” “We are against all forms of bigotry and discrimination they should have no place in the society.”
In a tweet containing the official statement by the CEO, Nigeria, it also read; “We are against all forms of bigotry and discrimination. They should have no place in society”
This is coming after plans have been made by Nigerians to boycott South African owned companies.
