Students of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, EKSU, on Thursday morning, staged a protest to kick against some alleged new policies of the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina.
According to sources, the school authorities have prevented students, who are yet to pay their school fees, from gaining entrance into the school premises.
Only students with an ‘e-transact’, an evidence of payment of school fees, are allowed to enter the school for lectures.
“If you don’t have an e-transact that shows that you have paid your school fees, you are not allowed to receive lectures.
No official response was received from the school management on the protest.
