The world’s richest people saw their combined net worth soar to $10 trillion in 2024, with Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jensen Huang topping the list.

Tech billionaires gained $903 billion, fueled by a 24% rise in the S&P 500 and a rally in US tech stocks.

Musk’s fortune reached a record $442.1 billion, boosted by his close ties to President-elect Donald Trump and his companies’ success, including Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI.

The tech “Magnificent Seven,” including Musk’s Tesla, Zuckerberg’s Meta, and Huang’s Nvidia, drove over half of the S&P 500’s gains.

Crypto billionaires also saw massive growth, with Bitcoin surpassing $100,000.

Despite a slight dip from the $10.1 trillion peak, the billionaires’ wealth still rivals the GDP of Germany, Japan, and Australia combined.
