It seems the United States is going into a season of re-opening the locked down economy as Apple Incorporation decides to open 25 stores out of its branded stores in the United States of America. The Corporation has earlier shut down its stores in March in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, the company is ready to re-open some of its stores following the announcement on the company’s website signed by the company’s head of retail, Deidre O’Brien. He said, “our commitment is to only move forward with a reopening once we’re confident we can safely return to serving customers from our stores.
“We look at every available piece of data — including local cases, near and long?term trends, and guidance from national and local health officials. These are not decisions we rush into — and a store opening in no way means that we won’t take the preventative step of closing it again should local conditions warrant.”
He also stated that the company will continue to adhere to all safety guidelines by ensuring that staff and customers wear face coverings and ensuring that everyone goes through a temperature check before going into going into the stores. He also said that social distancing would be practiced in the store as a specific number of people would be allowed in the store at once.
