A Michigan police officer allegedly shot and killed a 19-year-old woman, identified as Briana Sykes after she was reported to have shot at the officer near a Juneteenth parade, officials said.
According to reports, Briana allegedly fired at a Flint Police Department officer who was working a traffic point during the city’s Juneteenth Celebration Parade.
The officer, who was not injured was said to have broken down in tears after firing the shot that killed Briana.
Briana’s sister, Nala, while speaking in an interview said she feels bad for the officer as it was not his fault and she does not blame him.
