According to NME Taylor Swift has been revealed as the biggest earner of 2011 by US music industry bible Billboard.
The country-pop singer raked in a colossal $35.7 million (£22.5 million) during 2011, including personal earnings of $29.8 million (£19 million) from her ‘Speak Now’ world tour.
U2, who completed their record breaking 360° world tour in the summer, were second with $32.2 million (£20.5 million), with country singer Kenny Chesney in third place with earnings of $29.8 million (£19 million).
Elton John, Katy Perry, the cast of Glee and Journey all narrowly missed out on the Top 10.
