A federal high court has convicted a South African woman of money laundering.
Ngqula Nosisi Pam was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes commission after the sum of $374,335 was discovered in her possession at the Murtala Mohammed international airport in February.
Initially pleading not guilty to the charge of money laundering, she later changed her plea on Friday.
Justice Olatoregun of the Federal high court ordered the forfeiture of the money to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
