Following Pep Guardiola’s refusal to sign a contract extension at German giants, Bayern Munich, it became obvious he was on his way out.
The club announced that his replacement would be Carlo Ancelloti but Guardiola kept his plans close to his chest.
True to speculation, Guardiola has confirmed today that he is interested in making a move to an English club having spent three years in Germany.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked to Guardiola but he has refused to name the club he intends to manage.
“The reason I’ve not extended my contract is simple, I want to manage in the Premier League” Guardiola disclosed.
He went on to say “I haven’t decided on a new club yet. I think I am young enough. I need a new challenge. My career is a long way from over.”
