West Brom forward, Saido Berahino is in the news on today’s transfer window deadline as the subject of a possible move to Tottenham Hotspur.
West Brom rejected a 19 million pound bid for the forward and the striker reacted by submitting a transfer request to the club last week Monday. West Brom have signed Salomon Rondon already which initially seemed to pave the way for Berahino’s exit.
However, three rejected bids later, it seems unlikely that West Brom are prepared to let the player go. The 22 year old striker took to Twitter to vent his frustration in a bold attempt to force a move to Tottenham.
He tweeted, “Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.”
His latest stratagem is unlikely to resolve the situation with the Club Chairman Jeremy Peace adamant about his resolve to keep the player. His situation is reminiscent of Osaze Odemwingie’s attempts to force a move away from the Baggies to QPR on deadline day.
