Caitlyn Jenner has confirmed gender reassignment surgery in her new memoir
Almost two years have passed since 67-year-old Caitlyn spoke on being transgender, and announced her decision to make the transition.
Now Jenner has admitted to undergoing her ‘final surgery’ in January this year.
In her book, ‘The Secrets Of My Life’, she has decided to open up about the surgery as a result of constant questions from her fans regarding her genitalia.
‘You want to know, so now you know. Which is why this is the first time, and the last time, I will ever speak of it’, she writes in an excerpt of the book according to Radar Online.
‘The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated.
‘I am going to live authentically for the first time in my life.’
She continued: ‘I am going to have an enthusiasm for life that I have not had in 39 years since the Olympics, almost two thirds of my life.
‘So why even consider it? Because it’s just a penis. It has no special gifts or use for me other than what I have said before, the ability to take a whiz in the woods.’
She added: ‘I just want to have all the right parts. I am also tired of tucking the damn thing in all the time’
However, Caitlyn speaks about a whole lot more than just her operation in the book.
Yes, she covers that Vogue cover, but perhaps the hottest topic right now are her claims that wife Kris ‘pushed her into the closet’.
Caitlyn Jenner: The Secrets of My Life is released on April 27.
