For the first time in many years in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, scores of photographers in the region came together to mark World Photography Day, a day set aside for photographers to be photographed and carry their cameras without snapping customers, but rather observe, learn, unlearn, plan, strategize, master, and network with fellow professionals in the craft.

The event occurred at the Arena Event Center in Port Harcourt. It observed valuable activities like master class training by top professionals within the region, educative panel sessions and reviews, business development by top photo studio owners, raffle draws, creative photoshoot sessions with top models, and many other outstanding activities.
