The son of the Jagaban Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by name Seyi Afolabi Ahmed to his lovely new wife, the super gorgeous Layal Jade Tinubu, nee Holm.

The first part of the ceremony began in Lagos on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Iga Idugaran palace of his royal Majesty, Oba Riliwan Akiolu, also better known as the Olowo Eko. What happened on Friday, was the registry which meant that legally from that moment onward the couple were legally married before God and man. That event had been planned from the very beginning as a small event, meant for just family members alone.

But as soon as the news got out that Asiwaju’s son was getting wedded, the whole world literally came out to show support. Imagine the royal fathers like H. I. M, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Iku baba yeye, H. R. M Alaafin of Oyo, Oniru of Lagos, Oba Abiodun Oniru, Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi, the Onikoyi of Lagos, the Ojora of Ijoraland and the host Oba of Lagos as the Royal entourage at the event.

The 2nd part of the wedding was done in Como Lake, Italy a very picturesque area of Italy known to host such exclusive occasions.

The Event took place in Cernobbio, Como Lake, Italy.

The beauty of the Italian part of the wedding is that it was just a strict wedding ceremony with just few friends. Both parents on each side were not present.

Both parents attended the registry in Lagos, but the young couple only wanted their friends at the reception which was held in Como Lake. So as at Monday the 8th of August 2016 the couple were official married and rings were exchanged at the Oba’s Palace during their private ceremony.
