The news of his death was shared by a close associate and friend, Dr Tony Akposheri, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss. According to him, they had only recently spent time together during the New Year, reminiscing, laughing, and celebrating life, unaware that it would be their final moment together.
Ofor became a household name for his role as Clarus, a witty and memorable character who brought laughter to countless Nigerian homes during the golden era of television. His performances stood out for their natural humour, expressive delivery, and ability to connect with audiences across generations.

Beyond the screen, those who knew him describe him as a kind-hearted and lively man whose presence could light up any room. He was not just an actor but a source of joy to colleagues, friends, and fans alike.
Paying tribute, Akposheri reflected on the impact Ofor had on people’s lives, noting that his legacy goes far beyond entertainment. “You came, you gave joy, you made your mark, and you will never be forgotten,” he said.
As tributes continue to pour in, many Nigerians are remembering Ofor not just for the laughter he gave but for the lasting imprint he left on the country’s entertainment industry.
