Ugezu J. Ugezu Reveals How Nigerian Doctor Turned Butcher After Moving Abroad

Famous Nollywood actor and director Ugezu J. Ugezu has provided a warning story for Nigerians who intend to leave their country in pursuit of better opportunities overseas.

Ugezu shared the tale of a Nigerian doctor who left his Nigerian clinic to relocate to the United States on his Instagram page.

The doctor apparently sold his clinic in order to prepare for the relocation, hoping to start a better life abroad.

But in order to make ends meet after coming to the United States, he had to work as a butcher at a meat store.

Using this real-world example, Ugezu cautioned people against deciding to go quickly before fully comprehending the difficulties they would encounter overseas.

His words…

“In the name of JAPA, a practicing medical doctor in Nigeria sold his clinic and relocated to the US. Finally, he is now in a US city. Guess what? He now works as a butcher in a meat shop, hiding from Nigerians to avoid being noticed…FOR HOW LONG?

A lot of things are not really the way they appear. BE GUIDED. [Ugezu J. Ugezu Writes]”

“Ayaka, as soon as he passes his medical board exams, he’ll be alright. For now, he gotta feed family.”

@gabrieljerry3644:
“The question is how much is he making in Nigeria as a doctor? And how much is he making as a butcher in us??”

@kcee_thailand:
“It’s for the mean time…He did well believe me”

@jghosh77:
“This is a false narrative you’re pushing. No foreigner hits the ground running as an immigrant in a foreign country. Everything takes time.”

@olanrewajuzion7:
“At least he can travel from state to state without the fear of being kidnapped or unalived by bandits 🤷🏾‍♂️”

@wonder_rashid:
“Switching from being a medical doctor to a butcher in America is more profitable and rewarding than practicing as a medical doctor in Nigeria.”

@bethemmaike:
“But he can still go to school and earn a better living. It may take more years but the wait will be worth it.”

@ikenna_donald_ekwuibe:
“He can be getting twice of what he was getting in Nigeria as medical doctor . Las las na the money wey matter…”

@mrscocowonder:
“Everything DEPENDs on under what category he travelled! …what’s the difference with an established doctor with a Practice & established graduants across other career path who still travels and started afresh! We never know what people are migrating from and what they may want in the lives. Now all that being said, Give this Man some few years and see him rise into the new life he has chosen for himself. It is America!!!! Greatest Nation on the earth! No one with Dream, Discipline & Focus can lose it.”
