Her eldest daughter, Ayomiku Alabi, welcomed a baby girl on January 23, 2026, bringing joy to one of Nigeria’s most respected gospel music families.

Tope Alabi, born on October 27, 1970 in Lagos State, Nigeria, is one of the most influential figures in Nigerian gospel music. She has built a stellar career spanning more than two decades, combining powerful vocals, deeply spiritual messages, and cultural resonance in her music. Her work includes numerous popular albums such as Ore ti o Common, Agbara Olorun, Alagbara and more recent projects like Oluwa Ni: The Spontaneous Worship, placing her among the most beloved gospel musicians in the country.
