Three Hollywood actors who hail from Nigeria, Yvonne Orji, Uzo Aduba and Jovan Adepo have all been nominated for the 2020 Emmys Award.

For Yvonne Orji, this would be her first Emmys nomination for best supporting actress in a comedy series, ‘Insecure.’ This is also Jovan Adepo’s first Emmys nomination for best supporting actor in a limited series or movie, ‘Watchmen.’

This is however different for Uzo Aduba as she has been nominated three times and has won the Emmys Award twice for her role in the movie, ‘Orange is the New Black.” For the 2020 Emmys Award, Uzo Aduba was nominated for the role she played as a supporting actress in a limited series or movie, ‘Mrs. America.’
