The Lagos state government says three of the 256 Nigerians recently evacuated from Dubai have tested positive for coronavirus.
The evacuees have been observing the mandatory 14-day isolation in Lagos, having arrived on Wednesday, May 6.
According to Abayomi, the evacuees who tested positive have been moved to one of the state’s isolation centres.
This was disclosed by the state’s commissioner for health, Professor Akin Abayomi, on Sunday morning, May 17, via his official twitter handle.ย
