Nigeria were beaten 1-0 by African champions in an international friendly encounter on Friday.

The match was played in Austria and with no fans at the stadium because of coronavirus pandemic. Defender Ramy Bensebaini scored the only goal of the match in the opening 10 minutes.

Nigeria will now turn their attention to their second international friendly encounter against Tunisia on Tuesday.

They will be hoping to secure a win before their double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone in November.
