Stan Alieke Shares Story Of How EFCC Raided Comedian’s Home And Assault Pregnant Wife

After publicly denouncing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for their violent raid on a well-known comedian’s home, celebrity attorney Stan Alieke created a stir on social media. In a statement released on Thursday, April 10, Alieke revealed the February event.

Former Speed Darlington attorney Stan Alieke revealed that the EFCC unexpectedly barged into his client’s house.

They forced their way into the property, damaging the gate, walls, doors, and windows in the process. Alieke claims that his client had first refused to answer the door because he thought the intruders were armed robbers.

The comedian’s pregnant partner was allegedly beaten by the EFCC investigators after they broke into the house, leading her to fall and strike her stomach.

Everyone in the house was allegedly subjected to physical force by the officers as the situation worsened.

However, the EFCC promptly expressed regret and asked that the incident not be made public after realising who the comic was.

Nevertheless, Alieke disclosed that he is seeking damages from the EFCC for the raid’s damage and that legal action is in progress.

“This really has to stop. Many person have suffered this in the hands of @officialefcc rogue operatives,” he said.

Sharing an update on the comedian’s pregnant wife and son, Stan Alieke wrote in a caption,

“The wife is still in the hospital from that experience, and their two-year-old son had convulsions & other series of attacks from that experience. Even when he had raised money to fix the apartment, his son & wife still get flashbacks whenever they enter the house so he had to look for another apartment & abandon the house for now.”

@001_of_ishielu: Normally some of the efcc operatives are better rogues.they are just using their efcc jacket to cover themselves

@rodwellington: God heal the wife and baby. Very sad

@lizabrise: Why cant they get warrant from court before going to peoples house, if no warrant, they should not be allowed to just barge into peoples house like that. I think the Govt should implement that. This is really annoying

@yankoman: I don’t blame that guy that opened 🔥 & kpef one of them for east months ago.

@festusohaeke1: Why is he protecting the EFCC drop evidence online make everything thing cast

@lakesidep007: We actually don’t have a country. I still dey pray make one of these agencies do something we go hurt me. Wetin go happen after go dey very bloody. Who no buy sef go make payment

@bucphones: Everyone should try and install camera plus outdoor solar lights in the compound.
It’ll scare off crimiñals. Both those in uniform and otherwise.
Ones they’re aware there’s full CCTV footage it helps them behave well

@ceajai007: that’s why I don’t blame the awka guy that shvt one of them, you dont break into my house at odd hour and not expect me to act infront of my family, I’m a man not a weakling.

@chikaoloyede: The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), meant to uphold justice and speak against unlawful acts by government agencies, has often remained silent when their voice is most needed. Many critical issues go unaddressed, and their lack of public statements on general matters affecting citizens is deeply concerning. A strong stance from the NBA President alone could deter many abuses, yet this rarely happens.
Similarly, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has failed in its duty to educate Nigerians about their rights and the rule of law. Citizens remain uninformed not by choice, but due to the agency’s inaction.
Amidst these failures, Capitol Law Firm deserves recognition for using its platform to inform and empower Nigerians legally. In a country where even government institutions have turned a blind eye, your efforts stand out as not just noble, but necessary.
