The SME 100 business lunch with Uzoma Dozie, the CEO/MD of Diamond Bank Plc which took place on Friday, 24th June 2016 had a high turnout of entrepreneurs, business minded professionals and business owners. The theme was “The Age of Digital Disruption; Leveraging Technology for Business Growth.”
The event which kicked off at 12:30pm held at Otres Restaurant, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Mr. Dozie in his highly engaging session, spoke passionately about the need for small businesses to adopt technology in their processes as it brings about more productivity while saving time and energy. According to him, “The future of Africa is digital.” He stated that technology creates opportunities for the acquisition of useful skills and should be embraced by business owners. He advised business owners to have a platform that enables them engage with customers. From a marketing perspective, he said that online awareness is very cost effective and good for business.
It was an interactive event where participants contributed to the topic and asked questions about technological issues they face with their businesses.
The lunch followed afterward where participants networked, exchanged contacts and shared their business experience.
