Tems has shared her experience in Uganda following her release from police custody in Uganda after she was arrested and detained alongside Omah Lay for breaking COVID-19 rules in the country by performing at a concert.

Tems and Omah Lay are currently in Nigeria now and she has released an official statement thanking the Nigerian and Ugandan government and her fans for showing her extreme love in these tough times of her life.

According to Tems, this past week has been very eye-opening to her and decried how she had the least idea her performance was going to endanger the lives of her fans.
