Mike Adenuga Centre in Lagos came alive with soft lights, warm energy, and heartfelt conversations as women from across Globacom gathered for the SheGlows Summit 2025. Themed “Wellness for Growth,” the annual summit created space for reflection, connection, and authentic conversations around women’s well-being in the workplace.

The event wasn’t just another corporate engagement. It was a pause—a reminder that growth begins from within. With Globacom’s quiet yet intentional support, SheGlows has evolved from a small initiative into a movement that reaches women across cities and departments, both in person and online.
Inspiring Conversations and Transformative Insights

Three powerful speakers led the conversation on wellness and purpose.
Mrs. Olubunmi Aboderin Talabi opened the summit by redefining strength as the ability to rest, recharge, and reflect. Her talk encouraged participants to view self-care not as indulgence, but as a necessary act of leadership.

Bunmi George, founder of ShredderGang, built on that message by translating wellness into simple, daily habits that fuel productivity and joy. She spoke about the importance of intentional movement, balanced nutrition, and mental stillness in today’s fast-paced world.
The final speaker, Ifeoma Williams, challenged attendees to embrace authenticity. She reminded every woman that true leadership begins with presence, courage, and self-awareness. Her message resonated deeply, leaving the room quiet with reflection and renewed clarity.

Beyond the inspiring talks, the summit reflected Globacom’s leadership philosophy—that innovation and creativity flourish when people are well, supported, and seen. The SheGlows initiative embodies that belief, creating a culture where women can thrive both personally and professionally.
Participants described the experience as both empowering and restorative.
Ifeyinwa Okoli, Team Lead, Customer Care, said, “The event was beyond my expectations. Each speaker delivered her message beautifully, and I’ve taken so much home.”
Esther Ohiomoba from Enterprise Business added, “It touched my core. My biggest takeaway is to let my brilliance serve, not intimidate. I’d love to do this again and again.”
As the sun set over Lagos, the conversations lingered. The women left lighter, inspired, and re-energised—proof that when wellness leads, growth follows.
