Following seminude photos of Nigerian artiste, Seyi Shay surfaced on her verified Instagram page on Thursday (May 21), the singer revealed via her official Twitter handle that she had lost access to her IG page and said photos were released without her knowledge.

“I cannot tell why/who is doing this, but my IG account has been compromised & my privacy is being violated. Seems to be a deliberate attack as the photos circulating are not from a recent exchange.Please ignore all DMs from my account and do not share any personal info”, she cited.

In the late hours of Friday (May 22), she updated that the details behind how her verified Instagram account got compromised remains unresolved and announced a new IG page that fans can connect with her on. “Beautiful people! go follow my new Instagram @seyishaygram. We haven’t yet resolved how my verified account got compromised yesterday, so I’ll be using this new one as my official account until the safety of the other is guaranteed.” she tweeted.
