Sen. Abubakar Kyari, the Committee’s Chairman, said the budget consisted of N74 billion in staff costs, N58 billion in overhead, and N196 billion in capital expenditures.

As of December 31, 2020, the total performance of the FCT 2020 Statutory Budget was 88 percent.

Most of the projects run by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and the Federal Capital Development Administration (FCDA) are still in the works, according to Kyari, “due to overwhelming incompetence in acquiring Due Process Certificates on time.”
