Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat Visit MTN Data Centre Booth at GITEX

Governor Sanwo-Oluโ€™s presence at the MTN exhibit emphasized a shared vision between government and industry stakeholders. The Governor and his Deputy were hosted by MTNโ€™s Chief Operating Officer, Ayham Moussa, and Chief Information Officer, Shoyinka Shodunke. Together, they toured the booth, which showcased MTNโ€™s expanding investments in data infrastructure and next-generation connectivity. The display underlined the companyโ€™s role as a key enabler of Nigeriaโ€™s digital transformation.

Speaking at the event, MTNโ€™s COO Ayham Moussa took part in a panel session titled โ€œThe Big Push for Infrastructure and Next-Gen Connectivity.โ€ He emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating that โ€œpartnership between governments, regulators, and private sector players is paramount to creating an enabling environment for innovation and widespread access to next-gen connectivity.โ€

The Lagos State Governmentโ€™s engagement at the MTN booth signals more than just a courtesy visit.
