Regina Daniels’ Brother Raises Alarm Over Sammy’s Detention, Calls Out Ned Nwoko

Tensions Rise as Lawrence Daniels Accuses Ned Nwoko of Brother’s Arrest

Tension is growing in the Daniels family after Lawrence Daniels, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, raised an alarm online. He claimed that their brother, Sammy Daniels, is being held at Keffi Prison.

In a viral post, Lawrence accused businessman and politician Senator Ned Nwoko of being responsible for Sammy’s arrest and detention. The post quickly grabbed attention and started discussions across social media.

In a video shared on Instagram, Lawrence spoke with frustration about what he called “injustice and silence” surrounding his brother’s situation. He said that security officers arrested Sammy in Lagos, took him to Abuja, and later moved him to Keffi Prison. According to Lawrence, all of this happened on the senator’s orders. The claim spread quickly online as fans began asking both families for answers.

Lawrence Daniels Speaks Out

In the emotional video, Lawrence said, “Sammy is in Keffi Prison. We have been trying to reach him for days, and now we know where he is. All this is because of issues connected to Ned Nwoko. This is unfair, and we need answers.”

Although the video went viral, neither Regina Daniels nor her husband, Ned Nwoko, has made a public comment. Family sources said there has been tension between the Daniels family and the senator in recent weeks. Reports suggest the disagreement may be due to personal issues.

Family and Industry Reactions

Rita Daniels, the mother of the family, has not spoken about Lawrence’s claims. Meanwhile, several Nollywood actors have shown concern and called for calm. They encouraged both sides to settle the issue privately instead of online.

Reporters have tried to confirm if Sammy is truly being held at Keffi Prison, but the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has not released any official statement. Similarly, the NDLEA and police have not shared information that connects Sammy to any investigation.

Public Calls for Answers

Fans have taken to social media with hashtags such as #FreeSammyDaniels and #JusticeForSammy, demanding honesty and accountability. The story has taken over entertainment blogs and online discussions. Many Nigerians believe the situation shows how quickly private family matters can become public when celebrities are involved.
