In a colorful and inspiring event held on Friday, July 18th, 2025, the Rotary Club of Omole Golden celebrated its 22nd investiture ceremony with the official installation of Rotarian Adekunmilola Adio-Moses as the clubโs 22nd President.
The ceremony, which was held at the 10 Degrees Event Center, Billings Way, Oregun, drew dignitaries from within and outside Rotary, including key government officials, corporate leaders, and community influencers.
Delivering his acceptance speech as the new president of the club, Rotarian Adekunmilola Adio-Moses emphasized a life shaped by service, commitment to humanity, and the belief that meaningful change begins with deliberate action. He noted that his journey through Rotary has been defined by compassion and collective impact, since his days as Interact Club President in Government College Ibadan.

โRotary has taught me that service above self is not just a motto โ itโs a way of life,โ he said. โThis Rotary year, we will โUnite for Goodโ โ a theme that calls on us all to set aside differences and come together to tackle the pressing challenges in our communities.โ
He pledged to prioritize impactful projects in areas such as health, youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, and education among others. โWe are not just here to serve โ we are here to inspire, empower, and create impact,โ he added.
First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by Mrs. Funmilayo Omotoso, in her goodwill message, lauded the clubโs consistent support for humanitarian initiatives in Lagos State and beyond.
She urged the new leadership to continue championing causes that align with the Lagos State governmentโs THEMES+ development agenda, particularly in health care delivery, girl-child education, and community safety.
The Guest Speaker – Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Ope George delivered a thought-provoking address on the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in advancing Nigeriaโs socio-economic development.
โWe must begin to see collaboration โ not just between governments and private enterprises โ but between institutions like Rotary and the public sector,โ
Mr. George said. โTogether, we can build a better future โ one driven by innovation, shared responsibility, and collective purpose.โ
Outgoing President Rotarian Jide Ogunleye was commended for his leadership and the successful execution of projects during his tenure, particularly in the areas of maternal health and vocational training.

He formally handed over the mantle of leadership to Rotarian Adekunmilola Adio-Moses amid cheers and during the symbolic ceremony.
The event featured musical performances, award presentations, and a showcase of the clubโs achievements in the last year.
Guests were also treated to a documentary that chronicled Rotary Club of Omole Goldenโs legacy of service since its charter.
With a renewed sense of purpose and unity, the club is set to embark on a new chapter defined by inclusive leadership and
transformative projects.
As Rotarian Adio-Moses aptly put it, โThe power of Rotary lies not just in numbers, but also in the heartbeats of men and women united for good.โ
